Drilling & Routing – Experience in drilling and routing holes and notches in glass using a multi head Forvette or other automatic CNC controlled machine. Other makes could be Bavelloni, Bystronic. Experienced CNC operators could also learn how to use the Forvette relatively quickly.
CNC drilling/routing and edgeworking – Experience in polishing, grinding, drilling and notching shaped pieces of glass using a Bavelloni CNC machine. Other makes include Intermac, Denver, Bovone etc.
Hand Processing – Experience in using hand drills, hand grinding tools, radius corner machines and semi automatic circle polishers to polish, grind, drill and notch shaped and straight flat glass.
Other useful skills would be experience in using suction lifting devices and cranes, Fork Lift trucks those with First Aid experience/qualification, HGV drivers and vehicle loaders.
Salary £8.00 ph + Attendance bonus (£44 a week) and Quality and H&S bonus.
