Glass Cutter – Thick Glass - Experience in cutting 6mm – 19mm Float glass (rectangles and shapes) using Hegla automatic glass cutting table.
Glass Cutter – Thin Glass – Experience in cutting 4mm – 10mm Float glass and 6.4mm – 12.8mm Laminated (rectangles and shapes) using Lisec automatic glass cutting table.
Cutters would also need to have experience using Fork Lift trucks and overhead cranes for unloading glass delivery vehicles and moving glass stock in the factory.
Glass cutters who have experience using other types of automatic cutting tables eg Bystronic, Bottero, Forel etc could probably learn to use our machines relatively quickly.
Other useful skills would be experience in using suction lifting devices and cranes, Fork Lift trucks those with First Aid experience/qualification, HGV drivers and vehicle loaders.
Salary £8.00 ph + Attendance bonus (£44 a week) and Quality and H&S bonus.
